My teaching philosophy centers on creating inclusive, inquiry-driven learning environments where students develop as thoughtful and socially responsible designers. I encourage students to approach design as a process of research, reflection, experimentation, and collaboration, considering not only how design functions, but also whom it serves and how it shapes people’s experiences. Through human-centered and equity-centered approaches, I support students in connecting design theory with practice, developing strong technical and conceptual skills, and becoming more critical and empathetic design practitioners.
