I am an Assistant Professor of Design, researcher, and designer with a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and an MFA in Graphic Design. My research explores how design methods and emerging technologies, including generative AI, can support more inclusive, equitable, and meaningful experiences.
Bringing together design research, teaching, and creative practice, I develop tools, methods, and learning experiences that help future designers consider diverse perspectives, recognize systemic barriers, and design more thoughtfully for diverse people and communities.
My creative practice is rooted in graphic design and informed by my background in visual arts. I am particularly interested in how design shapes cultural experiences in museums, exhibitions, and public spaces. My work includes visual communication, interactive experiences, exhibition design, and curatorial projects connecting design with culture, storytelling, and community engagement.
Across my scholarship, teaching, and creative practice, I aim to advance more equitable and accessible approaches to design while responding thoughtfully to emerging technologies and changing cultural contexts.
